A vision rooted in history

To become the worldwide reference in preserving and promoting the game of golf as it was originally conceived—played exclusively with original pre-1935 hickory clubs, according to the sport’s earliest rules and traditions.

Mission

Hickory Golf Masters is dedicated to the daily custodianship of golf’s authentic form. Through its business units, HGM upholds the rules, etiquette, materials— including clubs from the Phil Gibbs Collection, assembled over 30 years of dedicated collecting— and cultural heritage of hickory golf, while cultivating a global community that shares its devotion. We do not merely preserve history, we keep it alive.

Hickory Golf Masters is not simply a brand. It is a custodian of tradition, a gathering of those who play not to follow fashion, but to honour the game’s timeless spirit.
